Ahoy there mateys! We're super excited to announce preparations are underway for Ventnor Pirate Festival happening in August 2025. As we get acts confirmed, we'll post on here, so look out for more updates as they are confirmed.
To warm up our Pirate festival there will be music all afternoon on the run up to Ventnor Carnival.
1.00pm - 3.00pm Shanty Singers: Brighstone Barnacles, Not a Mermaid in Sight, East Cowes Shanty
4.00pm - 6.00pm Folklore Duo
8.00pm - 10.00pm JC & Angelina BIG FUN BAND

VENTNOR MAIN CARNIVAL 7.00PM
6.30pm pirates assemble on Dudley Road for main Ventnor carnival procession at 7.00pm.
Throw on your finest pirate attire - its free to dress up and enter - all pirates old and young welcome!
9.00pm - Fireworks at Ventnor Seafront

THE FESTIVAL
Ventnor Pirate Festival is a FREE event and open to all. We're a not for profit Community Group made up of dedicated volunteers, and it's thanks to the generosity of our IOW sponsors which help to make this festival happen!
If you'd like to support our event we have the following packages available:

VENUES
What better way to commence proceedings than with a carnival! Events will kick off Wednesday evening at 7.00pm, when the historic Ventnor Carnival will be joined by numerous scallywags and piratey folk, and we'd love it if you can join us! So, brush down your finest pirate attire in readiness for this summers opening procession. Over Thursday, Friday and Saturday events will be focused along the seafront and in the town, we'll post up the schedule as events are confirmed. Our festival closes in style with the 9.00pm illuminated carnival around Ventnor town, for a few final farewells and shenanigans.

PIRATE
We're inviting pirate fans from across the seven seas, whether you're a seasoned seafarer or a young landlubber just beginning your grand adventure, everyone is welcome to join our swashbuckling festival! So dig out your best pirate outfit, practise your most convincing 'Arrhhs' and join us on this historic smuggling island for 3 days and 4 nights to celebrate all things pirate.
